Prep Time: 5-10 minutes

Cooking Time: 1 hour

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 400’F

Cut apples in half and slice into ¼ inch slices (Too thin and they will burn or lose flavour and texture)

Combine soy sauce, honey, mustard into a bowl

Use at least a 2 inch deep dish and add tenderloin

Slowly run the sauces over the tenderloin and into the pan

Spread apples over the tenderloin and place into oven

Cook for 60 minutes, rotating the piece about every 10 minutes

Slow cooker:

Cook for 6 hours on low, or 3 hours on high

Tips:

Marinating the tenderloin in the sauce will help the flavours soak into the meat and become more flavourful

Maple syrup can be substituted for honey, but you may need to adjust the amount

If feeding more than 2, just add more tenderloin and adjust the recipe to follow
